KidsHubTV Sth Africa
The team in Sth Africa have just completed filming 8 Episodes of KidsHubTV Season 1, and have only 5 more episodes to shoot in July and August.
One of the young presenters’ Zia Boltman, had saved some money and brought it to the filming wanting to give it to children in Zambia, who had no Bibles. Zia’s mom said: “The change in my child, since she started presenting on KidsHubTV, has been remarkable. The lessons she is learning during filming has improved her spiritual life and she has grown in confidence. Thank you for giving her the opportunity to be part of something like this!”
Videos that Serve
A group of young people in Chennai, India made their own videos of experiential games they like to play so everyone could watch and learn how to play them too! This month on the KidsHubTV facebook page we’ll be featuring their videos. The young people were inspired after doing the KidsHub Media sessions. They wanted to use their new skills to serve so they made the explanatory games videos and posted them initially on the Max7 website so everyone could benefit. They figured it was easier to learn a game through watching than reading instructions and so they did something about it!

Togo Teen Disciple Makers
Three teens from Togo – Zeka, Fonetico and Wisdom first trained in KidsHubs Media in 2013. Today they are all running their own KidsHubs groups and making KidsHubTV videos. Zeka (20 years) writes “My father died from heart attack in 2013; my mother is a bear cake seller. With KidsHubs, I want to make disciples for Jesus, through broadcast show and surely make media as my profession. Everyday we are involved in the children ministry. The kids and teens that we are serving are very gifted and talented. I am so glad to be an instrument that the Lord is using to serve them.”
Fonetico (19 years) writes, “I am the last born of a family of 7 persons, my father is dead and my mother is small fish seller. I love Jesus and I love video and I want to use video to share Jesus with my friends and everybody.”
Wisdom (20 years) explains that both parents are without work and life is very hard. But says, “I am seriously involved in KidsHub because it is a good platform to learn more (about) God through bible studies; I love kids; we learn media & other skills at KidsHub gatherings and it is an amazing experience. I wish to be one of the best cameramen for the Lord.”
Eric their mentor said, “We are experiencing the best and exciting moment of our life through the KidsHub strategy, it is all about disciple making.” The three teens could not have expressed it better when they wrote, “Our dream is to see every child become Jesus’ disciple through media.”
Kids Filming Kids
Edwin runs several KidsHubs in Kampala, Uganda. Every year he runs a Gala day for children. 610 children attended in November 2015 and 103 leaders. He wrote: “We had a ‘Children’s Gala for Hope’…guess what? Our KidsHubTV team covered the event …many people it was a surprise to them seeing children with cameras…I never knew that KidsHub media is another tool for discipling children. More thanks to Pr.Richard for introducing me to this tool and mentorship.” (Edwin was first brought to a KidsHubs & TV training in Dubai in 2013 by Richard Charles).

Make your own KidsHubTV
Now making your own version of KidsHubTV just got a whole lot easier. When you sign up as a Producer at KidsHubTV you get access to animated titles and video resources to create your own local KidsHubTV video and it’s FREE.
KidsHubTV began as a kid’s club-style TV show mirroring the local KidsHub groups featuring a Bible story and theme and skills demonstrated by a cast of children along with young adult leaders. Since then KidsHubTV has become more interactive and created a platform for local KidsHubs groups & young people around the world to make their own videos and share them on the KidsHubTV website and facebook page. Bible story animations and animated titles & music have also been shared to help build local versions of the show.
You can now download information booklets: KidsHubTV Overview and KidsHubTV Start Up Manual under Resources at KidsHubs or under Producer’s Resources at KidsHubTV.
