Sometimes the best encouragement for ministry is rubbing shoulders with others doing the same thing. In Europe there are two opportunities to rub shoulders with others from around the world and be inspired to continue working with and for children. They are both in Budapest, Hungary and are planned to run one after the other.
Reaching Europe’s Children is a week-long congress: 7 – 12 May in Budapest, Hungary.
The congress will attract people from 45+ nations across Europe, and will help those who have national influence in their nation. There will be 20 workshops to choose from and 10 specialist streams including Training, Sports Ministry, Children and the Holy Spirit, Child Faith Formation and Family Ministry. For the full programme go here. You can check out the Speakers here.
GCF 2018 Children Everywhere Walking with Jesus: 14 – 18 May in Budapest, Hungary.
As a partnering community, the Global Children’s Forum (GCF) has a vision to see children everywhere walking with Jesus. GCF 2018 will be a working conference to ‘rub shoulders’ with others in ministry. And to look at the Children Everywhere Toolbox of resources that is being launched to help local churches and workers explore ministry with children and empower them to create their own plans and materials to meet their local needs. You could be part of exploring what else is needed for the free Toolbox of resources. And be part of multiplying the vision across our organisational and church networks, bringing positive culture change in the way we minister to, for and with children.
If you’re up for more encouraging shoulder rubbing and receiving refreshment from great training and workshops you can then head to Chiang Mai, in Thailand.
GCM Equip – Global Children’s Ministry Conference: 23 – 30 May. GCM Equip aims to do three things:
- EQUIP ourselves to reach and disciple today’s kids.
- EXCHANGE ideas & information.
- ENVISION ourselves for the task.
So go ‘rub some shoulders’ and be encouraged!
