A Neighborhood Hub in the USA has been captivating local kids with hands-on activities and craft while making disciples. The group of children retold the Christmas story in whatever creative way they chose. Modelling clay, toothpicks, pipe cleaners and ice cream sticks were just some of the resources the children made use of.
On another day they made liquid rainbows and talked about creation and the right relationships God designed for us to have…with himself, each other, and nature. Karen their leader shared, “…love watching the kids engage with the activities and volunteer to read Scripture. And I love that they are asking questions. God’s up to something good!”
Karen recently posted on facebook “We didn’t have time to finish the catapults today in KidsHubs because the kids had so many great questions about God, sin, creation, the snake, etc. At the end of the club as parents were picking kids up, two girls continued asking me questions. At one point one girl said, “I got saved.” The other asked, “How?” I asked the first one to explain and she did a pretty good job. Unfortunately parents showed up before we could really dig into it. But next week we will! Please continue praying for these precious ones, that they would encounter the life-changing love of Jesus in the midst of our broken world.” God is up to something good!
